Adult film actress Jesse Jane passed away from an accidental overdose of fentanyl and cocaine, according to an autopsy report released by Oklahoma authorities. The 43-year-old was found unresponsive in her Oklahoma home with her boyfriend in January.

Born Cynthia Ann Howell, Jane rose to fame in the early 2000s as a leading figure in the adult film industry. After retiring from porn in 2017, she pursued a career in mainstream entertainment, appearing in television shows and movies.

According to KOCO 5 News in Oklahoma City, police discovered two people unresponsive due to suspected drug overdoses while performing a welfare check at a residence in Moore, Oklahoma. The deceased were later identified as Cindy Taylor, formerly known as Cynthia Ann Howell, and her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller.

Jane's career began in the adult film industry in 2002 with an exclusive contract that lasted until 2014. After leaving this studio, she continued working in adult film until retiring in 2017. She made occasional appearances in the industry after that.

Simultaneously, Jane attempted to transition into mainstream entertainment. She landed small roles in television and film, including appearances on popular shows like Baywatch, Starsky and Hutch, Family Business, and Entourage. She also hosted a TV show and participated in a reality series. Jane's career in the adult film industry was even the subject of a documentary.
