Prosecutors are calling it a "cold blooded
murder".
Only Fans model Courtney Clenney stands accused of killing
her crypto trader boyfriend Christian Obumseli in April of 2022.
That's when Miami-Dade police officers responded to calls of
a reported stabbing at the apartment of Clenney and her boyfriend, Obumseli.
Recently released police body cam body footage shows the moments after the
officers find Clenney covered in blood, from her face to her chest, cradling
Obumseli on the floor.
“Baby, baby, baby,
wake up!” she is heard saying in the video while holding him, sitting on the
floor.
The officers then order Clenny to let go of Obumseli and
step aside. As she stood up, Obumseli fell unconscious on the floor. Clenney
screamed, “No! No! No! I can’t let this-” The officers then immediately placed
her in handcuffs, and she said, “Wait, it wasn’t me!”
In another clip, paramedics are seen performing life-saving
measures on Obumseli. When she comes into the frame again, an officer is seen
pushing Clenney on the ground by her shoulders and giving her orders.
Clenney, now 27, is seen in hysterics in the couple’s luxury
Miami apartment moments after police said she plunged a knife into his chest on
April 3, 2022.
Clenney, who is captured wearing white sweatpants coated in
blood, a sports bra and a robe, tells officers, “I can’t let this happen, it
wasn’t me,” as they place her in handcuffs.
After being moved to another room Clenney is shown telling
an officer she is “terrified for him.”
“I am covered in his blood because I was trying to save him.
I need him – he was my other half,” she says.
Obumseli, who was left bloodied and on the ground, was pronounced
dead at the hospital.
Clenney has been charged with second-degree murder in the
death of Obumseli but has pleaded not guilty, claiming she acted in
self-defense.
She has remained behind bars in Miami since August 2022
while she awaits trial for the fatal stabbing.
The couple’s toxic relationship has been documented as part
of the murder case. Earlier this year, the law firm representing Obumseli’s
family released a video which showed the model hitting and yelling at her beau
inside an Aspen rental months before his death.
Clenney’s parents, Deborah, 57, and Kim, 60, were arrested
earlier this year for allegedly tampering with evidence in the case.
They had allegedly tried accessing their daughter’s laptop
before handing it over to Obumseli’s attorneys.
